Moonlight Abolitionists is a one-act site-specific one-act play written by Patrick Gabridge for Mount Auburn Cemetery . This play is designed to be performed as a concert reading (with the actors at music stands) under the full moon at Washington Tower in the Cemetery. Moonlight Abolitionists presents a swirling conversation between six abolitionists buried at Mount Auburn, performed under the full moon–Harriet Jacobs, Samuel Gridley Howe, George and Mary Stearns, Joshua Bowen Smith, and Charles Turner Torrey. Directed by Megan Sandberg-Zakian.
