A Revelation of Character looks at a friendship forged and fractured by the fires of abolition. Created for the Associates of the Boston Public Library’s Pierce Performance Series, this play features a deep dive into the lively letters and writings by and between Lydia Maria Child and Maria Weston Chapman.
Presented as a concert reading, the show ran November 12, 13 & 15, 2025, at Rabb Hall in the Central Branch of the BPL at Copley Square.
